‘Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam 2’ Coming Soon: Director Ponram Confirms!

Big news for Tamil cinema fans! Director Ponram has officially confirmed that the much-awaited sequel, Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam 2, is in active development and will go on floors very soon!
The exciting update came during the promotional interview for his upcoming film Kombu Vacha Singamda (starring Sarathkumar and Shanmuga Pandian), which is slated for release on December 19.
Speaking to the media, Ponram revealed: “The story and script for Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam 2 are fully ready. I’m making a few changes keeping in mind Sivakarthikeyan’s current growth and stardom. Once everything is finalized and Sivakarthikeyan gives his nod, we will start the film immediately. It’s definitely happening!”
He also added, “After this, I’m working on a full-fledged comedy film. The official announcement for that will come very soon.”
The super-successful Ponram-Sivakarthikeyan combo has earlier delivered:
- Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam
- Rajini Murugan
- Seema Raja
The first two films, especially the madcap Madurai-style rural comedies, remain fan favorites even today.
With Ponram now confirming that the iconic Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam universe is making a comeback, excitement levels among Sivakarthikeyan fans and Tamil cinema lovers have hit the roof!
All eyes are now on the official announcement and shooting start, likely right after Kombu Vacha Singamda releases on December 19.
