Popular television serial and movie actress Sangeetha has been arrested in Panaiyur on the ECR road for running a prostitution ring along with a person called Sathish. The cops were alerted that the flesh trade was in full swing on the said area and when they raided a house there several girls from various states of India especially the North were caught in the act.
The cops then arrested the alleged mastermind Sangeetha who has acted in several films and TV serials over the decades and is currently playing a major role in ‘Vaani Rani’. The girls were sent to a rehabilitiation center while Sangeetha and Sathish were produced before the Egmore court and later put in jail.
