It was reported earlier this Summer that star director Vamshi Paidipally would be making a film with Tamil superstar Vijay as the hero. This is Dil Raju's first mega, straight association with the 'Mersal' actor.

The Telugu-Tamil bilingual project has now been made official by the director himself. Paidipally has said that it will be announced formally after the second wave subsides. In normal times, it would have already been formalized with fanfare.

The untitled flick, which might hit the screens in 2022, will be one of the biggest Tamil movies ever. Dil Raju is marching into Kollywood with panache. After announcing Ram Charan's 15th movie, to be directed by Shankar, the ace producer is on his toes to firm up his position in the Tamil film industry.

As for Vijay, he is going to shoot for Nelson Dilipkumar's film after the lockdown. The actor's fans may not be aware of Paidipally, who is a well-known director in Tollywood but a potential dark horse in Kollywood.
