Indian cinema legend Rajinikanth delivered an emotional, humorous, and deeply spiritual speech in the presence of spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravi Shankar during a grand celebration at the Art of Living Ashram, leaving devotees and audiences moved by his heartfelt words and personal experiences.

Addressing thousands of devotees gathered at the event, Rajinikanth began by expressing his gratitude to Gurudev and Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, who also shared the stage with him. The superstar revealed that Gurudev personally invited him just a few days earlier to attend the celebrations marking the spiritual leader’s 70th year and the ashram’s milestone events.

With his trademark simplicity and honesty, Rajinikanth spoke about his linguistic roots, recalling his upbringing in Karnataka, his Marathi-speaking family background, his days as a Bengaluru bus conductor, and his 52-year journey in Chennai that made Tamil his strongest language today.

The actor fondly remembered his first interaction with Nitin Gadkari during a historic cricket World Cup celebration in Mumbai years ago. Recalling how Gadkari helped him and his family during a chaotic post-match traffic situation, Rajinikanth praised the minister’s humility, kindness, and leadership qualities. He described Gadkari as a leader who “does not demand respect, but commands respect.”

However, the most emotional moments came when Rajinikanth shared his spiritual experiences with Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar. He recalled seeing Gurudev for the first time in person at an airport lounge in Bengaluru nearly three years ago. Rajinikanth said he was mesmerized by the happiness and positivity radiating from Gurudev’s face, describing it as a joy beyond material success.

The superstar then narrated his first visit to the Art of Living Ashram, where he initially planned to stay for just two days but eventually remained for 15 days. He praised the serene atmosphere, greenery, smiling faces, animals, spiritual environment, and the peace he experienced there.

In one of the most talked-about moments of his speech, Rajinikanth revealed how his ego was “crushed” during a public darshan event with Gurudev. Sitting beside the spiritual leader before thousands of devotees, he expected fans to seek photos and autographs. Instead, he noticed that not even a single person looked at him, as everyone’s attention remained completely focused on Gurudev.

Laughing about the experience, Rajinikanth said, “That is the power of spirituality. Stardom comes and goes. Spiritual power is supreme.”

The actor reflected on the temporary nature of fame and explained how spiritual greatness continues even after a person’s lifetime. Quoting saints and spiritual teachings, he emphasized the rarity of human birth, good health, inner peace, self-realization, and most importantly, finding a true Guru in life.

Rajinikanth also spoke about Sudarshan Kriya, meditation, devotion, yoga, and ancient spiritual techniques preserved by sages for centuries. He praised Gurudev for making these teachings accessible to common people and said devotees are truly blessed to experience such wisdom directly.
