Thala Ajith’s ‘Valimai’ genre is not the one you think – Surprise Details

Thala Ajith’s ‘Valimai’ directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor is getting ready to storm the screens worldwide on Pongal 2022 and there is not need to add that it is the most awaited Tamil film for a long time now.  

The first glimpse of ‘Valimai’ released a few weeks back as a festive treat for fans has further shot up the expectations beyond the skies.  The clip showed bikes flying around and supended in the air and Thala Ajith himself riding one from the top floor of one multistoreyed building to another.

The general perception is that ‘Valimai’ is a bike race based film and the glimpse teaser also gave credence to it.  However Telugu hero Karthikeya who is playing the main villain in the film has let out more details on the genre.

Karthikeya has stated that ‘Valimai’ does have high octane action sequences especially featuring bikes and Thala Ajith rocking in the action without a stunt double.  However he added that the film is not about illegal bike racing but the screenplay has something that has never been attempted before in Indian cinema.

The handsome hunk added that H. Vinod has incorporated many elements in ‘Valimai’ apart from illegal bike racing and there is a more philosophical touch.  He assured that the film will belong fifty percent to Ajith and the rest to the director and satisfy both their fans to the max.
