Vagai Puyal Vadivelu is set to make his comeback in Tamil cinema with the upcoming film 'Naai Sekar Returns' written and directed by Suraj. The crime comedy film is set to be bankrolled by Subaskaran Allirajah of Lyca Productions. Notably, Vadivelu and Suraj were infected and recovered with the COVID-19 recently.

Now, the latest news is that Vadivelu and Suraj are back to work. The Naai Sekar Returns team is currently busy in the song composing session in London. The photos released by the makers are currently going viral. Sharing the picture, the production house wrote, "#NaaisekarReturns songs getting composed in London, work in full swing! @Music_Santhosh is with the team including #VaigaiPuyal #Vadivelu, @Director_Suraaj, Lyca Productions founder #Subaskaran (sic)."

The film is a spin-off of Vadivelu's character in Suraj's film Thalai Nagaram (2006). Cooku with Comali fame Shivaangi and the comedy actor Redin Kingsley are playing pivotal roles in Naai Sekar Returns. Anandraj, Munishkanth, RJ Vigneshkanth, Lollu Sabha Seshu and Sunita will also feature in the movie.
