Uriyadi 2 will make you rethink your voting choice!

The soul sequel of the critically acclaimed 2016 flick Uriyadi, Uriyadi 2 directed by Vijay Kumar, and starring himself along with newcomers is all set to hit screens on April 5, and in an exclusive interview to Indiaglitz, director Vijay Kumar opened up on the movie, and various aspects of the movie. Here are few excerpts from the interview.

Uriyadi 2 will portray the caste politics, corruption, and the capitalism that drives both of these and how it impacts the lives of few people, who decide to payback, revealed Vijay Kumar. Speaking of Govind Vasantha’s scintillating numbers, Vijay said that the “Iraiva” number in the movie will be an emotional and goosebumps stuff, adding that he had penned the song in 2 hours, which was an expression of his 9 years anger.

Touching the piracy angle in the industry, Vijay Kumar said that while the first part struggled to find screens in 2016, when the piracy sites made the movie reach many, this time around he has got a huge platform to showcase his movie thanks to Suriya who had been extremely supportive right from the start, without any interference, and also made a request to piracy portals to avoid illegal release of the movie online. Vijay Kumar also revealed that he will continue to play the hero if he gets good stories, and take a break from direction. If the movie is making people think before they vote in the upcoming elections, it is the success of Uriyadi 2, said the promising maker.
