It has been nearly two years since Kamal Haasan's last big screen appearence. The actor and director Shankar revived 'Indian 2' soon after the release of 'Vikram'. The team has completed 'Indian 2' with a few days of shooting left for 'Indian 3'. The post-production work is going on at a rapid pace. While the elections are set to take place on April 19 in Tamil Nadu, 'Indian 2' is scheduled to hit the screens on May.

As per the latest reports, 'Indian 2' is coming to cinemas on May 24. It is reported that Kamal Haasan will join the promotions of the movie after the election. 'Indian 2' is a joint production of Lyca Productions and Red Giant Movies. The production houses will soon announce the date officially. The film has an ensemble star cast and music composed by Anirudh.
