The shocking news of television actor Sampath Ram dying by suicide has shocked the entertainment industry. He is famous for playing an important character in the serial 'Agni Saachi' and other Kannada films and TV serials.

The 35, year old got married last year. and lived with his wife at Neelamangala near Bangalore. It was reported that Sampath Ram was found dead in his house on Monday and reason cited was that he was depressed because he did not get the opportunities to act as expected and tooke the extreme step. It is also said that he had a small misunderstanding with his wife who is said to be five months pregnant.

Vaishnavi, who starred alongside Sampath Ram in the Kannada serial Agni Saatchi, said in an interview, "Sampath Ram acted as my brother in that serial and always had a smiling face. He kept others laughing at the shooting spot and It would be fun if he whenever he was around. I never heard him complain about life. Not even a day he was worried on the set. It has been two years since the end of Agni Saatchi serial. I did not meet him after that. He invited me to his wedding but I could not go because of work. I called and congratulated him. He has not even been married for a year and I heard that his wife is 5 months pregnant. I don't know why he did this at this time."

The Bengaluru police are conducting an inquiry to ascertain what exactly caused Sampath Ram's death. It was his friend and coactor Rajesh Dhruva who first reported the unfortunate incident on social media.
