As the year 2018 is drawing to an end we take a look here at the Top Ten highest grossing movies at the Tamil Nadu box office with Superstar Rajinikanth dominating with two of his films '2.0' and 'Kaala' while Thalapathy Vijay's 'Sarkar' stands atop.

Thalapathy Vijay's 'Sarkar' has raked in rupees 126 Crores in Tamil Nadu which is the top ranked movie. Superstar Rajinikanth's '2.0' has collected the same 126 Crores but when the 3D charges are deducted then it stands at rupees 111 Crores. 'Kaala' has collected 59 Crores followed by Karthi's 'Kadaikutty Singam' with 52 Crores.

Sivakarthikeyan's 'Seemaraja' directed by Ponram in spite of the mixed to negative reviews has still managed a highly impressive 49 Crores while Mani Ratnam's multistarrer 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' took 46 Crores. Suriya's 'Thaana Serndha Koottam' is at number 7 with 44 Crores take followed by Dhanush's 'Vada Chennai' with 39 Crores, the Hollywood movie 'Avengers Infinity War' collecting 32 Crores and at number 10 is Nayanthara's cop thriller 'Imaikka Nodigal' collecting 29 Crores.
