Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Sethupathi’s Slum Dog Teaser Date Announced

One of the most anticipated collaborations in recent times, Slum Dog: 33 Temple Road brings together maverick director Puri Jagannadh and acclaimed actor Vijay Sethupathi for a gritty pan-India action drama. With shooting now completed and post-production progressing at a brisk pace across all language versions, the makers have officially kickstarted the film’s promotional campaign.

The team has announced that the film’s teaser will be unveiled on June 8, giving audiences their first substantial glimpse into the intense world of Slum Dog. Along with the announcement, the makers released a striking teaser poster that has instantly grabbed attention.

The poster features a blindfolded man standing motionless as a blood-stained machete is held against his neck. The dark and unsettling visual hints at a brutal, violent, and emotionally charged narrative, while also raising curiosity about the mysterious story at the heart of the film.

Vijay Sethupathi headlines the film, with Samyuktha playing the female lead. The cast also includes veteran actress Tabu and Kannada star Duniya Vijay in pivotal roles. Brahmaji and VTV Ganesh are set to appear in important supporting characters, adding further depth to the ensemble.

The film is being produced by Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur under the Puri Connects banner in association with JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla’s JB Motion Pictures.

Adding to the excitement is the involvement of National Award-winning composer Harshavardhan Rameshwar, whose powerful work in films such as Arjun Reddy and Animal earned widespread acclaim. He is composing the music and background score for the film.
