'The Queen’s Gambit', the miniseries that has been streaming on Netflix, has created a global record. As per the streaming giant, 62 million households chose to watch the period female-centric drama in its first 28 days.
The series made it to the Top 10 in 92 countries and has been ranked No. 1 in 63 countries, Netflix revealed. "The novel (by the same name) has entered The New York Times bestseller list, 37 years after its release," the OTT platform said, suggesting that the popularity of the miniseries has had a positive multiplier effect for the book.
