Superstar Rajinikanth`s '2.0' directed by Shankar is touted to be India`s biggest film in terms of grandeur, the technology used and style quotient. The most anticipated science-fiction movie is slated to enthrall millions of fans worldwide starting from January 25.

The makers of the '2.0' have disclosed interesting facts about the movie in the second part of 'Making of 2.0- 3D featurette' which was released by Shankar on Saturday. '2.0' will boast of technology that has never even been tried by the much advanced Hollywood counterparts.

According to the director, the magnum opus was shot directly with the latest 3D camera instead of the conventional route of shooting with a 2D camera and then converting into the 3D format in the post-production. This is the conventional route which even most Hollywood movies are known to embrace.

Stating that '2.0' is more of an experience than a movie, the director also added that the experience could be tapped only with the help of an advanced 3D technology. Nirav Shah's brilliant technical knowledge has made this possible, so also a dexterous team of Hollywood technicians.

Even Superstar himself has appreciated Shankar for the film calling it 'mesmerising'. In addition to this, A.R Rahman has scored music for the film and Resul Pookutty as the sound director has introduced a new sound format in 4D for the first time.

Since there is a lot of action sequences and visual effect scenes in the movie, fans could expect the finest experience of watching a 3D movie that is not only on par with Hollywood but beyond that as well.
