Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups has stormed into the record books even before its theatrical release, rewriting the rules of pan-Indian cinema. In a landmark deal that has sent shockwaves across the film industry, Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC), headed by Dil Raju, has acquired the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana distribution rights for a staggering ₹120 crore (advance on commission basis). This officially marks the biggest-ever acquisition for a non-Telugu origin film in the AP–TG market.

The historic agreement between the film’s producers—KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations—and SVC further cements Toxic as one of the most anticipated cinematic spectacles in Indian cinema. Trade sources reveal that three major players aggressively competed for the AP–TG rights, with SVC ultimately emerging victorious, sealing what is now being hailed as one of the most defining distribution deals in recent times.

Yash’s Pan-India Stardom Drives Unprecedented Buzz

Fronted by Yash, Toxic is being viewed as a powerful symbol of how true star power and cinematic ambition can transcend linguistic boundaries. Ever since its announcement, the film has generated unprecedented buzz—evident in massive on-ground excitement, organic fan frenzy across countries, and strong interest from multiple territories beyond Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

In the Telugu states especially, Yash enjoys a rare acceptance as one of their own, with audiences eagerly awaiting his next film since KGF Chapter 2. This anticipation is now clearly reflected in the record-breaking pre-release traction and early trade numbers.
