Thalapathy Vijay is teaming up with ace director Venkat Prabhu for the first time in his 68th film. AGS Entertainment is producing 'Thalapathy 68', which will have music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. While all eyes are currently on the actor's upcoming biggie 'Leo', new updates are pouring in on Thalapathy 68 already.

According to the latest reports, Thalapathy 68 is said to be a political action thriller with a multistarrer cast. The makers have planned a look test with Thalapathy Vijay next week in London. He will be seen in various makeovers as he's playing dual roles. The regular shooting is expected to commence by October end or November first week.

As we reported earlier, Jyothika is in talks to play the older Vijay's pair while Priyanka Mohan is in talks to play the other Vijay's pair. Popular actor Jai is said to be playing an important role in Thalapathy 68. He has earlier played Vijay's brother in the 2002 film 'Bhagavathi'. This project is aiming to hit the screens by Summer 2024.
