Thalapathy Vijay's 'Varisu' directed by Vamshi Paidipally has one of the most exciting ensemble cast in recent times. The film has Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead with Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Shaam, Srikanth, Jayasudha, Khusbhu, Prakash Raj, Samyuktha, Sangeetha and Yogi Babu.

Now the hot update is that S.J. Suryah has joined the cast of 'Varisu' and he will be playing a very important character. His portions will be shot in the current schedule. It is said that earlier a top Telugu hero was in talks for the role but due to date issues the 'Maanaadu' star has been brought on board.
