Thalapathy Vijay's next release 'Master' directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and costarring Vijay Sethupathi is the hottest Tamil movie amongst the trade circles not only in Tamil Nadu but the rest of India and overseas too. The film with music score by Anirudh is in the final leg of postproduction now and is expected to hit the screens as soon as theaters open up post the coronavirus pandemic. In fact this is the film that theater owners and distributors are banking on to pull the crowds back to the theaters.
Vijay meanwhile has reportedly used the lockdown period to plan for not only his next movie but also the next two after that. 'Thalapathy 65' is produced by Sun Pictures and is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and will go on floors in the next few months.
Vijay has also committed a movie for his 'Mersal' producer Sri Thenandal Studios that is most likely to be directed by Pandiraj and is said to be a rural family drama though nothing is confirmed as yet.
Thalapathy Vijay has also okayed another project for XB Film Creators and Seven Screen Studios who have already collaborated in 'Master'. Early reports suggest that Sudha Kongara, Sasikumar, Magizh Thirumeni, Arunraja Kamaraj and Mohan Raja have narrated scripts and one of them could helm this project.
