Indian 3: War Mode On! Kamal Haasan-Shankar Gear Up for the Final Schedule

The much-awaited Indian 3 is finally picking up speed. After a long wait, the Kamal Haasan–Shankar combination is entering the final stretch, with the team preparing to resume shooting for the remaining portions of the film.

The latest update is that the pending shoot is expected to kick off in around 10 days. At the same time, post-production work has already begun, with the editing process currently underway. With both shooting and editing progressing simultaneously, the makers appear to be pushing the project towards completion.

Unlike Indian 2, the third installment is set to take audiences much further back in time. Indian 3 explores Senapathy’s younger days and his experiences during the freedom struggle, offering a deeper look at the events that transformed him into the iconic vigilante.

The glimpse released earlier created considerable buzz, particularly for its period backdrop and large-scale visuals. Kajal Aggarwal and S. J. Suryah were also seen in key portions of the glimpse, adding further curiosity about their roles in the story.

Kamal Haasan once again leads the film as Senapathy, while S. Shankar directs the project. The cast includes Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Kalidas Jayaram, Gulshan Grover, Samuthakani, Bobby Simha, Brahmanandam, Piyush Mishra and several other prominent actors.

The technical crew features Anirudh Ravichander as music composer, Ravi Varman as cinematographer and T. Muthuraj as production designer.

Produced by Subaskaran Allirajah under Lyca Productions, Indian 3 is being mounted on a large scale. With the final schedule approaching and editing already in progress, the film is now moving into a crucial phase.

The makers are also expected to announce the official release date soon. If the current schedule stays on track, Indian 3 could soon become one of the major talking points among fans of Kamal Haasan and Shankar.
