Thalapathy Vijay's action-packed blockbuster "GOAT" has officially joined the elite club of mega-hits of Tamil cinema. The film, which premiered on Netflix last week, had already garnered immense buzz, and today, the producers confirmed the final box-office numbers.

Producer Archana Kalpathi announced with a new poster that "GOAT" has raked in a staggering ₹455 crores at the global box office over its 30-day theatrical run. Following its record-breaking theatrical run, the film with lucrative deals from digital, satellite, and audio rights, ensured it was a profitable venture for both producers and distributors.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, "GOAT" featured Vijay in dual roles, alongside an ensemble cast including Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Sneha, Mohan, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Yogi Babu. With Yuvan Shankar Raja composing the music, the film became an instant crowd-puller. Vijay has already shifted gears, beginning the shoot for his next big project, "Thalapathy 69".
