‘Super Deluxe’ Duo Reunites: Filming Begins for Thiagarajan Kumararaja’s ‘Pocket Novel’!

Director Thiagarajan Kumararaja and actor Vijay Sethupathi have carved a niche for themselves in Tamil cinema with their unique storytelling and filmmaking styles. Their previous collaboration, Super Deluxe, received widespread acclaim and went on to win a National Award. Now, after nearly seven years, this powerhouse duo is reuniting for a new film titled ‘Pocket Novel.’

The announcement and title poster recently went viral on social media. The poster—depicting a man falling into a pit while a briefcase flies open, scattering currency notes—suggests that the film will be a gripping crime thriller.

Alongside Vijay Sethupathi, the film features a stellar lineup of actors:Vijay Sethupathi: Lead Actor Malavika Mohanan: Female Lead Raj B. Shetty: The acclaimed Kannada actor/director makes his Tamil debut as the antagonist.Kishore: Playing a pivotal role.

Pocket Novel is set to be released in multiple languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada. Given the director’s track record with Aaranya Kaandam and Super Deluxe, cinema enthusiasts expect this film to become another ‘cult classic.’
