Allu Arjun Podcast Claim Sparks Row; Kaveri Barauh Issues Apology

The controversy surrounding Allu Arjun over the alleged “42 dos and don’ts” claim has officially been put to rest, following a formal written apology from brand strategist Kaveri Barauh.

A podcast clip featuring Barauh had recently gone viral, in which she alleged that a detailed list of rules was associated with meeting the actor. The remarks triggered widespread debate on social media, with users questioning both the authenticity of the claims and the intent behind them.

Allu Arjun’s team promptly dismissed the allegations as baseless and defamatory, stating that no such document existed and warning of legal action.

In her signed clarification titled “Public Clarification and Apology,” Kaveri Barauh admitted that her statements were incorrect and not based on any verified document or factual material. She explicitly clarified that no document containing “42 dos and don’ts” was ever issued to her by Allu Arjun or anyone acting on his behalf.

She further acknowledged that her remarks were made in the flow of conversation during the podcast and should not have been presented as factual assertions. Expressing sincere regret, she withdrew the statements in their entirety and apologised for any misunderstanding or reputational harm caused. Barauh also conveyed her respect for Allu Arjun and his body of work.

With the written apology now public, the issue appears to have been formally resolved.

On the professional front, after the blockbuster success of Pushpa: The Rise and Pushpa 2: The Rule, Allu Arjun continues to expand his pan-Indian presence. He is currently preparing for a big-budget sci-fi entertainer with director Atlee, tentatively titled #AA22xA6.
