Thalapathy Vijay's highly anticipated film 'The Greatest Of All Time' (GOAT) hit theaters yesterday, generating excitement among fans and receiving positive feedback from both critics and audiences. The action-packed film had a massive global release, debuting on over 5,000 to 6,000 screens worldwide.

Social media is now buzzing with reports of the film's record-breaking box office performance. According to early estimates, 'GOAT' has emerged as Kollywood’s highest opening day grosser in 2024, with an impressive worldwide collection of over ₹100 crores on its first day. If confirmed, this would make Vijay the first Tamil actor to achieve consecutive ₹100 crore Day 1 grossers.

In Tamil Nadu alone, the film reportedly brought in ₹31 crores on opening day, ranking it as the fourth-highest opener in the history of Tamil cinema. Nationally, 'GOAT' has collected ₹44.5 crores on Day 1.

Directed by Venkat Prabhu, 'GOAT' features Vijay in dual roles and boasts a star-studded cast that includes Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal, Mohan, Sneha, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Yogi Babu, Vaibhav, Premgi, and Yugendran.
