The pasts couple of days have been nothing short of a whirlwind for Thalapathy Vijay and his fans as first the 'Master' shooting in Neyveli was disrupted by the Income Tax raid and the subsequent shift of Vijay to Chennai and facing a thirty-five-hour enquiry. The proceedings ended at around 10 pm on Thursday with the IT officials reportedly declaring that there were no disparities in the accounts or the amount that Vijay received as remuneration for 'Bigil' from AGS Entertainment.
Vijay after taking few hours rest rushed back to Neyveli to resume the shooting of 'Master'. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj continued canning shots with Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Andrea and Arjun Das at the coal mines of the NLC. As reported by us in the afternoon BJP cadres started a protest against the management for permitting film shooting and demanded that it be cancelled immediately.
Hearing about the protests a large number of Vijay fans have also gathered before the NLC where the 'Master' shooting is taking place. They too started raising slogans against the political cadres and the area is said to be tense right now. Reports have also come in that the police had to resort to lathi-charge to diffuse the situation between the Vijay fans and BJP party men.
