Thalapathy Vijay is one of the most popular stars in India. He is the most-sought after hero among the producers and he leads a huge pack of fans. The actor is currently awaiting the release of his family entertainer, 'Varisu', coming to the screens on Pongal 2023.
Meanwhile, Vijay's next project with director Lokesh Kanagaraj went on the floors earlier this month with a muhurat puja. Tentatively called 'Thalapathy 67', it is undeniably among the most-hyped upcoming films now. The makers are expected to officially announce the film after the release of Varisu. It is produced by Seven Screen Studio and has music by Anirudh.
The latest is that the veteran Tamil actor Mansoor Ali Khan confirmed his presence in Vijay's next film Lokesh. Talking to the media at an event, he recently said, "I have acted with Thalapathy since his debut film. I played one of the villains in his first film. We've worked together in more than 10 movies. I wasn't able to act with him recently. I'm happy to reunite with him in his next project."
It is worth mentioning that Lokesh Kanagaraj is a great fan of Mansoor Ali Khan. The director earlier revealed that he wrote the 'Kaithi' story for Mansoor Ali Khan but he wasn't able to do it with him. They are finally teaming up in Thalapathy 67. Apart from Vijay and Mansoor, sources tell us that Trisha, Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Nivin Pauly, Gautham Menon and many others are playing important roles in the much-awaited movie.
