Selvaraghavan is a famous director and screenwriter in Tamil cinema. Now, he is debuting as an actor in Kollywood with the thriller film 'Saani Kaayidham'. The ace filmmaker has also been roped in to play a key role in Thalapathy Vijay's biggie 'Beast' written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.

We broke the news first to you several months back that Selvaragahavan is locking horns with the superstar as the chief antagonist in the upcoming comedy action drama. Meanwhile, the latest report suggests that Selva is not a villain, but plays a quirky politician in 'Beast'. Sources say that his role in the film will be different. The director, who is known for portraying serious characters, will be seen in a cool and humorous role.

On the other hand, it is also being speculated that the filmmaker will essay a high tech computer hacker role. There are also other villains such as Shine Tom Chacko and John Vijay with different shades. We have to wait to see their roles in the massive invasion thriller 'Beast'. It is already reported that Vijay is playing an international level intelligence agent who rescues the people trapped in a huge mall by the villains.

'Beast' produced by Kalanithi Maaran's Sun Pictures has Anirudh's music score and the ensemble cast comprises Vijay, Pooja Hegde, Yogi Babu, Selvaraghavan, Aparna Das, Shine Tom Chacko, John Vijay, VTV Ganesh, Redin Kingsley and Lilliput Faruiqui. The movie is slated to hit the screens worldwide on 14th April 2022.
