Thalapathy Vijay's next movie 'Thalapathy 67' started with a puja on December 5th at the Ganesha temple in the AVM Studios premises in Chennai. Only the cast and crew members were allowed inside the studio and cellphones were totally banned. Hence there have been no photos or videos of the event shared by the attendees so far.
It has been reported that the shooting for a launch announcement video of 'Thalapathy 67' will commence in Chennai from December 7th and will go on for a couple of days at least. It will be on the lines of the famous "Aarambikalangala" first glimpse video of director Lokesh Kanagaraj's 'Vikram' starring Kamal Haasan. Fans will most probably get to see it after the release of Vijay's 'Varisu' on Pongal 2023.
Meanwhile info has come in that apart from Vijay, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Anirudh and producer Lalit Kumar there were few more celebrities who attended the puja. According to the buzz Trisha Krishnan, Priya Anand and Action King Arjun were the prominent celebs at the 'Thalapathy 67' launch.
Drawing from this info it can now be safe to assume that Trisha and Arjun who we already reported to you were in talks are now confirmed in 'Thalapathy 67'. Now Priya Anand too is added to the list and it is already well known that Sanjay Dutt is the favorite to play the main antagonist.
It is said that Arjun is on board for the role that was initially offerred to Vishal who now may have opted out. There is also a strong buzz that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is also playing a cameo role which will be confirmed only later.
