Veteran Tamil character actor Thalaivasal Vijay's daughter, Jayaveena got married to famous Tamil Nadu cricketer Aparajith earlier this morning at a wedding hall in Thiruvanmiyur in Chennai. The wedding reception was held last evening.

The couple who were seeing each other for a few years got engaged a few months. Jayaveena is a passionate sportsperson and national level swimmer who has won several medals. She also earned herself the title of the youngest swimmer to win a medal at the National Games.

Baba Aparjith played cricket in the Ranji Trophy while his father was an official in the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association. Aparajith participated in the Junior World Cup in 2012 and scored a double century in the Duleep Trophy in 2013. He is also currently the captain of the Chepakkam Super Ghillie team.

Several celebrities attended the Jayaveena- Aparjith wedding and reception and bless the couple. Fans have also taken to social media platforms to congratulate the newly weds and wishing them a long happy married life.
