IPL 2023 will remain a memorable season for the fans of Chennai Super Kings. CSK returned to their home ground after so many years, fabulous performances from the club amid the injuries & replacements and lifting the trophy by beating the strongest team of the season back-to-back twice.

CSK now has the joint record of the most IPL trophies along with Mumbai Indians. Thala Dhoni is the only captain and CSK is the only team to have played 12 playoffs and 10 finals in IPL history. The legendary cricketer was left with tears when Ravindra Jadeja finished off the match last night. He wanted to seal the fifth trophy for the fans and Jadeja has won it for him.

Meanwhile, there were a lot of fun moments in the field as well. In one such instance, Thala Dhoni refused to autograph the star CSK bowler Deepak Chahar's jersey as a joke as he dropped Shubman Gill's catch when he was on 3 runs. After his misfield, Gill went on to score 39 off 19 balls before MS Dhoni himself stumped him out in Jadeja's over. The video of the same is going viral on social media.
