Samantha Breaks Silence on Career Trolls: ‘Many Said My Career Was Over’

Following the blockbuster success of Maa Inti Bangaram, the film’s team held a grand thank-you meet on Wednesday. Actress Samantha, director Nandini Reddy, producer Raj Nidimoru, Himank, and anchor Sreemukhi attended the event.

Speaking at the event, Samantha expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming response to the film and admitted that the success still feels surreal. She revealed that the team had carefully planned the production to recover the film’s budget even before its release, as there was uncertainty about the opening after her three-year gap from the big screen.

Samantha said the team treated her like a star hero during the promotions and credited writer-producer Raj Nidimoru for designing her character with strong commercial appeal. She also reflected on the ups and downs of her career, revealing that many people had written her off and even claimed that her career as a heroine was over.

“I never felt bad about those comments. Instead, I accepted them as a challenge. This film was also a challenge for our entire team, and today the audience has given us a memorable victory,” she said.

The actress also thanked Megastar Chiranjeevi for personally appreciating the film and spending nearly an hour with the team after watching it. Sharing a message for young women, Samantha said that every woman should believe in herself and never become completely dependent on one person if she wants to move forward in life.

Director Nandini Reddy said Maa Inti Bangaram was designed to connect with audiences of all sections, with Samantha being the emotional and commercial backbone of the film. She added that the actress has showcased a completely new dimension of her performance, much beyond what audiences have seen in her previous films.

Producer Raj Nidimoru said the response to Maa Inti Bangaram has surpassed even the appreciation received by his previous successful projects. He revealed that making the film involved significant risk, but Samantha immediately agreed to the project after hearing the story. He credited the film’s success to meticulous planning, teamwork, and the unwavering support of the entire cast and crew.

With Maa Inti Bangaram continuing its successful theatrical run, the team thanked audiences for making the film one of the biggest hits of the year.
