Thala Ajith donates for fight against COVID 19

Thala Ajith one of the biggest stars in South India with an enviable fan following has donated rupees twenty-five lakhs to the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Fund to combat the second wave of COVID 19.  He is said to have made an online transfer to the fund directly from his bank account through RTGS.

A press statement from Ajith’s manager Suresh Chandra states that the donation has been made after the request by the Chief Minister M.K. Stalin to the public to donate to help combat the rampant spread of the coronavirus and revive the economy that has been severely affected by it.

On the movie front Thala Ajith has completed a major portion of shooting for his next movie ‘Valimai’ directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor.  The remaining portions will be shot soon after the pandemic situation comes to an end.
