Thala Ajith has been shooting continuously for 'Valimai' in Hyderabad in spite of several hurdles including the COVID 19 pandemic and also an on set bike accident he had when shooting an action sequence. It is said that director H. Vinod has planned the last major schedule in a foreign country and the team will be flying there soon.

'Valimai' is produced by Boney Kapoor with Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music and Nirav Shah handling the camera. The film stars Ajith, Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu, Pearle Maaney and Karthikeya.

Already talks for Ajith's next tentatively titled 'Thala 61' has started and it has been reported that Vishnuvardhan and Sudha Kongara have narrated scripts to Ajith and are waiting for the nod from him. A few sources have even maintained that Ajith is keen to reunite with H. Vinod for his next as well since he is very impressed with his working style.

Now a birdie in Kollywood has created the buzz that Thala Ajith recently met director A.L. Vijay and had a long conversation with him. The sources add that it is most likely a script narration and the duo may join together for 'Thala 61. In 2007 Vijay got the chance to direct Ajith in his very second film 'Kreedom' which unfortunately did not do well at the box office. We have to wait and watch to see if the Ajith and Vijay meeting was for 'Thala 61' or a casual courtesy call.
