Thala Ajith's enviable mass of fans have been eagerly waiting for an update on his underproduction film 'Valimai'. Some joy came when Yuvan Shankar Raja the music composer of the film on the birthday of director H. Vinod hinted that an update will come soon. Now a hot news has started doing the rounds in Kollywood circles about 'Thala 61' which should send the fans in a higher frenzy.

According to the buzz 'Thala 61' is more or less confirmed to have Sudha Kongara as the director and AGS Entertainment producing on a grand scale. We actually brought you the news first several months back that Ajith listened to a line from Sudha and liked it and asked her to develop the script. Now it is said that another narration was rendered by Sudha Kongara to Ajith which has paved the way for 'Thala 61' to begin its initial movements. Sudha's latest film 'Soorarai Pottru' starring Suriya and Aparna Balamurali had done massive business on the OTT arena and will stream on Amazon Prime Video from October 30th. If things fall in place then she would surely fly to her next level with the Thala Ajith magic.

AGS Entertainment last year bankrolled the mega-budget 'Bigil' directed by Atlee and starring Thalapathy Vijay and Nayanthara. If the deal comes through then they will be working with Thala Ajith for the first time and will mount the project on a grand scale. However there is no official word regarding this mega venture and we will have to wait and watch how this unfolds in the future.

Ajith's 'Valimai' directed by H. Vinod and produced by Boney Kapoor is fifty percent complete and the remaining portions will be shot once the coronavirus pandemic comes under control.
