Tragically, last week while making a music video, 17-year-old American rapper Rylo Huncho shot himself. Known for his appearance on TikTok, Huncho passed away during the filming from an unintentional gunshot wound he sustained while carrying a pistol. The New York Post reports that while the teenager's name was first not confirmed by officials, a viral social media video showed the rapper from Suffolk dancing and singing while brandishing a revolver.
Huncho was discovered deceased on May 15 in Suffolk, Virginia. Posting the unsettling video to his Instagram account, Huncho demonstrated the gun's integrated green laser and illumination while waving it. He said, "f**k y'all n****s" as he turned off the gun's safety and aimed it at his head before depressing the trigger. The phone that was videotaping the event dropped to the ground as the bullet instantaneously killed him.
The rapper was recognized by The Direct reports as Raleigh Freeman II. One of his cousins launched a GoFundMe page after learning of the news, hoping to raise $15,000 to help Huncho's bereaved family. Support for Grieving Aunt After Tragic Loss is the name of the fundraising, which Monica Savage and Diane Bryant are spearheading.
Hello, my aunt recently lost her 17-year-old son from a self-inflicted pistol wound to the head, says the campaign description. It also verifies Huncho's status as an only child and the greatest efforts made by his single mother to raise him. The family and the neighborhood are in grief after this terrible event, which emphasizes the risks of improper gun handling.
