Marking the occasion of Sundeep Kishan's birthday, the teaser of 'Nakshatram' was released today.

On the face of it, Krishna Vamsi is set to tell an intense cop story, complete with his own ideology. There are police states. Then there are police societies as imagined by a Krishna Vamsi. If you don't believe it, read the two captions that the Teaser throws up: Every police is a citizen in uniform. Every citizen is a police without uniform.

The first of the two dicta is represented by Sai Dharam Tej (and Pragya Jaiswal, too, perhaps). The second one is implemented by Sundeep Kishan's character.

To be sure, there are bomb blasts as well. And a fiery Tanish. But these is nothing if you are waiting for a sultry, sizzling number from the romance-friendly director. Pragya and SDT surely have a beach song, 'sankellu' (chains) be damned. Prakash Raj has a key role. JD Chakravarthy is a villain.

Like a typical KV hero, Sundeep Kishan, otherwise heroic, is seen wailing out of heart in a moment of anguish. That's the parting shot for you.
