Veteran filmmaker Tatineni Rama Rao breathed his last earlier today in Chennai. The director, known for films like 'Yamagola', ‘Jeevana Tarangal’, ‘Anuraga Devata’ and ‘Pachani Kapuram’, shone in the world of cinema in the 1960s, 1970s and later.
Nandamuri Balakrishna has expressed his condolences. "Rama Rao garu brought aura to the craft. He made several amazing films. With my father, he made the historic 'Yamagola'. I got to work with him on 'Thallidandrulu', which garnered the support of a wide section of audiences. He was also supportive of producers and tried to minimize production costs. He made several hits in Bollywood as well. His demise is deeply saddening," the 'Akhanda' actor said today.
The Telugu film industry is saddened by the demise of the veteran. IndiaGlitz extends the deepest sympathies to the bereaved family of Rama Rao. May his soul attain Sadgati!
