‘Comedy Kings’ Reunite After 25 Years: Prabhu Deva and Vadivelu in ‘Bang Bang’!

The dynamic duo that defined dance and comedy in Tamil cinema is back. Prabhu Deva and ‘Vaigaipuyal’ Vadivelu are teaming up for a new film titled ‘Bang Bang.’ The official teaser has been released and is currently going viral across the internet.

Their legendary journey began with the iconic ‘Mukkala Mukkabala’ song in the film Kadhalan and continued through hits like Manadhai Thirudivittai, Engal Anna, Raasaiyya, Mr. Romeo, and Love Birds. In particular, their comedic chemistry in Manadhai Thirudivittai remains a fan favorite, fueling memes and reels to this day.

The reunion of this successful pair after nearly 25 years has sparked massive expectations among cinema lovers.

Direction: The film is helmed by debutant director Sam Rodrigues.

Music: Yuvan Shankar Raja (often referred to as Plan B) is composing the music. His score is expected to be a major highlight for this collaboration.

Production: Produced by Kannan Ravi under the KRG Studios banner.

Filming: Production kicked off on a grand scale in Dubai in August 2025 and is currently in its final stages.
