'Naane Varuven' is one of the most-awaited films among Kollywood fans as it marks the reunion of Dhanush, Selvaragahavan and Yuvan Shankar Raja after a decade. Dhanush's double-action looks from the movie were released earlier. The director recently updated with a stylish poster that the final stages of shooting are on.

Now, a source close to the development of the film has revealed that the Swedish-Greek actress Elli AvrRam will essay the leading lady role opposite Dhanush in 'Naane Varuven'. The heroine was shooting for the movie this month and was also spotted at the airport several times during the filming. Apart from her, the makers have roped 'Bigil' actress Indhuja as the other female lead.

Elli AvrRam came to prominence after participating in the Hindi Bigg Boss in 2013. She debuted in Bollywood with the 2013 film 'Mickey Virus' and is known for the film 'Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon'. The actress has also featured in some Telugu and Kannada movies. AvrRam made her Tamil entry alongside Kajal Aggarwal in the unreleased flick, 'Paris Paris', the Tamil remake of the 2014 Hindi film 'Queen'.

Kalaippuli S Thanu is producing 'Naane Varuven' under the banner V Creations. Selvaraghavan confirmed that he is playing an intriguing role opposite Dhanush in this movie, earlier this month. The team has already updated that they completed composing the songs of 'Naane Varuven'. The movie, with cinematography by Om Prakash and editing by Bhuvana Sunder, is expected to release later this year.
