Ever since Maharashtra BJP leader Narayan Rane asked earlier this week asked as to why people present at Sooraj Pancholi's "house party" on June 13 haven't been questioned, the Bollywood actor has been in the news. The son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab has blasted a piece of "fake news" in this context.
A TV channel allegedly showed Disha Salian, the former manager of Sushant Singh Rajput who died days before the actor in June, as having attended a house party hosted by Sooraj. It turns out that the woman identified in the pic by the TV channel is not Disha but someone else.
"Is this the media we are supposed to trust? That girl in the picture which was clicked in 2016 is not 'Disha Salian'. She is my friend who doesn't even live in India," Sooraj wrote on Instagram.
He added, "Please stop brainwashing people and PLEASE stop harassing me and dragging me into this!" The 'Hero' actor reiterated that he has never met or spoken to Disha Salian.
Meanwhile, SSR's case is likely to be handed over to the CBI soon.
