Actor Jiiva has joined hands with director Raju Murugan, who has earlier directed Cuckoo and Joker, for the movie Gypsy. Produced by Olympia movies Ambedkumar, the movie had been facing delays in release due to censor issues because of the political content.

Initially the team had announced the release of the movie on January 24, but it was postponed. After clearing censor issues, Gypsy was censored A, and recently the team had announced that the movie is set to release worldwide on March 6.

The next update from team Gypsy is that actor Suriya will release the new teaser of the movie tomorrow. Gypsy also stars Natasha Singh as the female lead, and this is her debut in Tamil. Malayalam actor Sunny Wayne and director Lal Jose also debut in Tamil with Gypsy which has music by Santhosh Narayanan.
