Suriya is a highly prolific actor in the South film industry. He is not only known for his acting skills but also for his philanthropy and humble nature. The National Award-winner is the founder of the Agaram Foundation which has helped thousands of students over the years in their education and their upliftment. He also respects his fans very much.

Recently, Suriya visited the family of a fan who passed away and offered his condolences. One of his fans and his fan club member, Aravind, lost his life in a road accident. Upon hearing the news, Suriya visited Aravind's home in Ennore to meet the family and conveyed his prayers and condolences. The photos regarding the same are now doing rounds across the social media platforms.

On the work front, Suriya is currently working on the magnum opus film 'Kanguva', directed by Siruthai Siva. He is all set to start shooting for 'Suriya 43' by director Sudha Kongara from October or November. He also has 'Vaadivaasal' with director Vetrimaaran in the pre-production stage. The actor is in talks with director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra for 'Karna' and director Boyapati Srinu for a new film.
