Suriya was last seen playing Rolex Sir, a powerful cameo in Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan's recent industry hit 'Vikram'. The latest is that a famous director, who helmed Suriya in an acclaimed super hit movie, has stated that he is planning a sequel with Suriya reprising his role.
Vikram K Kumar directed Suriya starrer science fiction film '24', which was released in 2016 and became a super hit in south India. Reportedly, the maker has opened up about the plans for his upcoming movies in a recent interview. We might get to see Suriya reprising Athreya, one of his iconic negative roles in his career.
During the interaction, he said, "Have plans for a Sequel to the 24 movie and a line is ready which needs to be expanded in full yet with Athreya." On the work front, Suriya is most likely to start shooting for his project with Siruthai Siva. The actor will complete one schedule before he moves to the next schedule of director Bala's 'Vanangaan'.
Suriya also has 'Vaadivasal' with Vetrimaaran, a sci-fi venture with 'Indru Netru Naalai' director Ravikumar in which he plays a scientist, a film with 'Jai Bhim' director TJ Gnanvel and a movie based on a true incident with 'Soorarai Pottru' director Sudha Kongara.
