Suriya announces titles and FL of his 3 new movies releasing directly on OTT

Suriya one of the topmost heroes in South Indian cinema is ready to rock once again in the OTT arena.  His uber-cool looks in the episode ‘Guitar Kambi Mela Ninnu’ from ‘Navarasa’ web series will be a treat to fans from August 6th on Netflix.

Suriya is also shooting simultaneously for two films ‘Ethakkum Thunindhavan’ and ‘Jai Bhim’.  The hardworking star in his Avatar as producer too is super busy and is bankrolling several projects under his banner 2D Entertainment..

Meanwhile, Suriya has just announced the titles of his new production venture which are as follows.  ‘Raame Aandalum Ravane Aandalum’ is produced by Arisil Murthy and stars Ramya Pandian, Vani Bhojan and Kodangi Vadivelu.  The first look poster has Ramya Pandian with a costar in a rural avatar tending to cows.

The next project from Suriya is ‘Udanpirappu’ that has his wife Jyothika and Sasikumar as siblings while Samuthirankani plays the husband of Jyo.  The film is directed by Era Saravanan with D. Imman scoring the music.

The third film of 2D Entertainment has that interesting title ‘Oh My Dog’ and its tag line reads “A tale of friendship, between a boy and his best friend!”.  The film marks the debut of Arun Vijay’s son Aarnav Vijay and stars both.  Aarnav’s grandfather and the veteran Vijayakumar is also part of the cast.

Suriya has taken the bold step to release all three films on Amazon Prime Video.  It is worth mentioning that his ‘Soorarai Pottru’ was the first mainstream film starring a big hero to stream directly on OTT (Amazon) in Tamil cinema.
