Suriya is currently working on his upcoming biggie 'Etharkkum Thunindhavan' which is now in the post-production stages. Kalanithi Maran's Sun Pictures is bankrolling this mass entertainer while Pandiraj is directing. The film is slated to hit the screens worldwide on February 4th, 2022.

While the post-production works are going on at a brisk phase, the makers are already working on the promotional works too. Earlier, the ET team released the first single 'Vaada Thambi' sung by Anirudh and GV Prakash which became a viral hit. Now, Sun Pictures have unveiled the second song 'Ullam Urugudhiya' from Etharkkum Thunindhavan.

The song's title and first line were inspired by the old Tamil religious song sung by TM Soundararajan. It was a special song for the Tamil god Murugan. Meanwhile, Ullam Urugudhaiya from Etharkkum Thunindhavan is a romantic duet song featuring Suriya and the female lead Priyanka Mohan. Suriya was seen in Lord Murugan's getup in the lyric video.

Fans are posting that Suriya's Murugan getup from the new song is a recreation of the actor's childhood photos. In the childhood photos, Suriya is seen in Lord Murugan's look with his little actor Karthi. The songs and pictures are doing rounds on the internet now. Imman has composed music for Etharkkum Thunindhavan.

Pradeep Kumar, Vandana Srinivasan and Brindha Manickavasakan have rendered their voices for the song with the lyrics penned by Yugabharathi. Etharkkum Thunindhavan also stars an ensemble cast of Vinai Rai, Sathyaraj, Saranya Ponvannan, Rajkiran, Soori, M.S.Bhaskar, Devadarshini, Redin Kingsley, Jayaprakash, Ilavarasu, Tiger Thangadurai and CWC Pugazh in prominent roles.
