Suriya’s craze comes to the fore in Rajahmundry

Suriya is there in Rajahmundry to shoot for ‘NGK’.  And the other day, the shooting had to be shelved for a day because of the non-cooperation of his fans, who had assembled at the shooting spot in hundreds just to catch a glimpse of the versatile, handsome actor.

As soon as the ‘Singham’ star came out from his caravan, the crowds tried to mob him.  They raised slogans cheering him.  As per some, there were about 500 uncontrollable fans.  Others say that there were double this number.  The shooting couldn’t be carried out and the unit called it quits for the day.

It’s remarkable that a Kollywood star has so much popularity in the Telugu States.  ‘Ghajini’ did the magic for him.  Female fan following is much higher than the following among males.

‘NGK’ is being directed by Selvaraghavan.  It will be released in Telugu, too.
