Telugu superstar Vijay Deverakonda‘s much-awaited 14th film (tentatively referred to as VD14) is gearing up for a major announcement. The makers have officially confirmed that the film’s title, along with a powerful first glimpse, will be revealed on January 26, 2026 — coinciding with Republic Day.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan (known for Taxiwala, Shyam Singha Roy, and Sadugudu Vandi), this prestigious project is set in the British colonial era and promises a never-seen-before period action drama. Produced by the renowned banner Mythri Movie Makers, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead opposite Vijay Deverakonda.
Speaking at a recent event, director Rahul Sankrityan expressed high praise for the actor, stating: “When you see Vijay Deverakonda’s performance in VD14, you will be shocked. You will witness his true acting talent.”
The announcement has created huge buzz among fans, with the makers teasing: “The legend of the cursed land gets a NAME on 26.1.26.” Many expect the title reveal to come with an intense glimpse or teaser showcasing Vijay’s powerful avatar in this historical action entertainer.
Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda is also busy with his 15th film, Rowdy Janardhana, where he is paired with Keerthy Suresh.
