Director Sudha Kongara, who won a National Award in 2022 for her film 'Soorarai Pottru' starring Suriya and Aparna Balamurali, has now directed its Hindi remake titled 'Sarfira.' The remake features Akshay Kumar and Radhika Madan in the lead roles. The much-anticipated trailer for 'Sarfira' premiered today.

The 2.5-minute trailer of 'Sarfira' does justice to the original, showcasing what promises to be one of Akshay Kumar's best performances as Vir Mhatre. The trailer also offers a glimpse of Suriya's cameo. The star-studded cast includes Paresh Rawal, Seema Biswas, and others. 'Sarfira' is set to hit cinemas on July 12th.

'Sarfira' is produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment, Cape of Good Films, and Abundantia Entertainment. Despite composing for the original, GV Prakash has created a fresh and scintillating soundtrack for this film rather than reusing the tunes. Niketh Bommi handles the cinematography, and Sathish Suriya is the editor.
