Suriya one of the topmost heroes in South Indian cinema is ready to rock once again in the OTT arena. Earlier in 2021, Suriya produced three films that took the OTT platform by storm. Now he has announced the release date of his next outing 'Oh my Dog' produced under his banner 2D productions starring Arun Vijay in the lead role.

Taking to his Twitter he wrote, "Oreo, Waffle, Jo and I, bring to you #OhMyDogOnPrime a film from our hearts to yours, on 21 April @PrimeVideoIN #ArnavVijay #Simba @arunvijayno1.

Directed by debutant Sarov Shanmugam, Oh My Dog is said to be a fun-filled kids film, that also focuses on the relationship between a boy and his pet dog. Set against the backdrop of Ooty, the film will have Arun Vijay and Vijay Kumar playing Arnav's onscreen father and grandfather.

'Oh my Dog' was previously announced to be released in December but unfortunately, the film was delayed. With music by Nivas K Prasanna and cinematography by Gopinath, the film will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on April 21.
