AVM Heritage Museum was inaugurated last month with Chief Minister M.K.Stalin presiding over Actor Kamal Haasan’s presence. This unique experience from AVM Productions has more than 300 classic films along with vintage film production equipment such as cars, old cameras and two-wheeled vehicles showcasing the technological advancements in filmmaking during its golden era.
Exciting exhibits like famous actors’ costumes complement the museum along with Kamal Haasan’s Buick Super 8 from Sakalakala Vallavan and Superstar Rajinikanth’s Suzuki RV90 from Paayum Puli on display. Additionally, visitors can experience vintage transportation like Dodge Kingsway owned by MGR and Vauxhall Velox’s Gemini Movies’ S.S. Vasan. M.S.Guhan had an excellent idea when he decided to showcase historical vehicles alongside these exhibits at this new museum.
Superstar Rajinikanth himself visited it recently and expressed his appreciation while photos from the event are extensively shared across social media platforms. The public has greeted it warmly due to its efforts in preserving South Indian cinema’s historical significance. The head of AVM Productions, M.Saravanan interacts closely with visitors answering all their queries regarding the museum”s offerings!
