Superstar Rajinikanth chooses this director before Lokesh Kanagaraj ?- DEETS

Superstar Rajinikanth who is on the verge of completing ‘Jailer’ directed by Nelson Dilipkumar will soon begin shooting for ‘Lal Salaam’ directed by Aishwarya Rajinikanth.  It is already announced officially that after that ‘Thalaivar 170’ will go on floors later this year directed by T.J. Gnanavel of ‘Jai Bhim’ fame.

Last week the internet went wild after the news started trending that Rajini and Lokesh Kanagaraj will be teaming up for a new movie which may be produced by Sun Pictures or Seven Screen Studios.  It was widely believed that the project could be ‘Thalaivar 171’.

Now there is another buzz that Rajini has held talks with famous Tollywood director K.S. Ravindra aka Bobby for a new movie and there is a high likelihood of this project taking off before the Lokesh film.   Sources say that Dil Raju of ‘Varisu’ fame is keen to bankroll this out and out commercial flick and more details are expected to emerge in the coming days.  Bobby is famous for mass masala entertainers in Telugu that include Ravi Teja’s  ‘Don Seenu’ and ‘Balupu’, Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’, Jr. NTR’s  ‘Jai Lava Kusa’ and the most recent ‘Walter Veeraiya’ starring Chiranjeevi and Shruti Haasan.
