Superstar Rajinikanth has wrapped up shooting for his upcoming film ‘Jailer’ and the movie is locked for a theatrical release on August 10. Now, sources tell us that the legendary actor is set to move to his next project. He has ‘Lal Salaam’ and ‘Thalaivar 170’ while director Lokesh Kanagaraj is in talks for ‘Thalaivar 171’.
As per the latest reports, Rajinikanth is expected to start shooting for his portions in Lal Salaam in the film’s second schedule in Mumbai. Produced by Lyca Productions, Thalaivar will play a cameo role in this movie directed by his daughter Aishwarya. It is worth mentioning that Vishnu Vishal headed to Mumbai for the new schedule of the movie a few days ago.
Lal Salaam also stars Vikranth and actress Jeevitha Rajashekar in her big-screen comeback after 33 years. Rajinikanth is said to be playing a Muslim character and Jeevitha will be seen as his sister. The movie will be a sports drama in which Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth are playing cricketers. AR Rahman is composing the musical score and the film will be released in 2023.
